Outlook invites, Teams channel links, and calendar events don't always line up neatly — and the moment a meeting starts is exactly the wrong time to be searching for which one is the real link.

What Auto Join Meetings does today for Teams

Once your Outlook (or Google Calendar with synced Teams links) is connected, we detect teams.microsoft.com and teams.live.com links in your events and open that tab automatically a couple of minutes before start time — exactly the same reliable tab-opening behavior we provide for Google Meet and Zoom.

Being straight about the current limit: Teams is detected and the tab opens, but there is no auto-click step for Teams yet — no content script is injected there today, so entering the call itself is still your final click. This is different from Google Meet, where that click is automated and confirmed (see our Google Meet page).

Does Auto Join Meetings click Join for Microsoft Teams?

Not yet — Teams meetings are detected and the tab opens automatically on time, but clicking the final Join button is still a manual step today.

Is opening the tab automatically still useful without auto-click?

Yes — most lateness comes from not having the right tab open at the right moment in the first place, not from the last click. Auto Join Meetings solves the first part today for Teams.
