The solution
Once your Google Calendar or Outlook is connected, Auto Join Meetings reads your upcoming events, recognizes the Google Meet link, and opens it in a new tab shortly before start time. On meet.google.com specifically, a content script goes one step further: it finds the "Join now" button and clicks it, then confirms you actually made it into the call — this is the one provider where that final click is fully validated in production, not a best-effort attempt.
How it works
1. Connect your calendar
Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, via OAuth. No new calendar to maintain.
2. We detect the link
The same detection logic used across the extension recognizes meet.google.com links in your events.
3. Tab opens on time
Configurable lead time (1/2/5 minutes) on paid plans, 2 minutes by default.
4. Join is clicked for you
Confirmed entry into the call — you'll see it happen, not just hope it did.
Compatibility
