Auto Join Meetings already gets you into a call on time. The next gap is what happens the moment it ends: the follow-up task that lives in your head for twenty minutes until you remember to open a different app and type it in. Auto Join Meetings now connects directly to ClickUp, so that follow-up takes one click, from the same place you already manage your meetings.

The problem: follow-up work lives in a different app than your meetings

A meeting ends, and the useful three seconds of "I should follow up on that" evaporate the moment you switch tabs. By the time you actually open ClickUp, you're reconstructing what you meant to write instead of just writing it.

What's new: ClickUp joins the list

Auto Join Meetings already had Slack notifications, generic webhooks, CRM tasks (HubSpot, Salesforce), and personal/team task managers (Microsoft To Do, Asana). ClickUp extends that same idea to teams already running their work there:

ClickUp — connects through its own dedicated OAuth sign-in, no separate API key for you to manage. A task lands in your workspace's first available list, ready to triage.

How it works today

Open the extension's Dashboard, click "Manage Integrations," and connect ClickUp. Once connected, "Send Test Task" creates a real task in your own workspace right then — useful right after a call while the context is still fresh, without leaving the tab you're already in.

We're building this out further into full meeting-to-task automation (a task created automatically when a meeting ends, based on rules you set) — that piece isn't live yet, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than claim it early. What ships today is the one-click connection and task creation described above, already working against a real ClickUp workspace.

What never leaves your device or account

Auto Join Meetings never reads your ClickUp lists, never creates a task without you clicking the button, and never sends a meeting title or participant list anywhere — just the operational task text you'd type yourself. Getting started

Connecting ClickUp is free to set up — Auto Join Meetings doesn't require a paid ClickUp plan for this, and neither does ClickUp's own free tier. Full setup steps, including what the connection can and can't do, are in the Integrations help article.
