Tab opening is automatic for Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams alike, up to 3 times a day on the Free plan, unlimited on Basic.
Actually clicking "Join" is automatic today only for Google Meet on Basic — it clicks "Join now" and confirms you're in the call.
For Zoom (prototype) and Microsoft Teams, you still make that last click yourself — but you're not the one who has to remember to open the tab in the first place.
